Elderly man with cognitive issues missing from Dhaka's Farmgate area

Family members are seeking the public's help to find 69-year-old Mobarak Hossain, who has been missing from Dhaka's Farmgate area since Friday morning. Hossain was last seen around 10:00 AM and has not been located despite extensive searches over the past four days.

Hossain's son, Taimur Khan Mobin, stated that his father experiences age-related cognitive problems and is currently undergoing treatment. He noted that Hossain, who regularly attended prayers at the Poshchim Tejturi Bazar Jame Mosque, always carried a mobile phone, but it has been switched off since he disappeared.

Tejgaon Police Station has filed a missing person report and is actively working to locate Hossain. Officer-in-Charge Kya Swee Nue Marma confirmed that information has been shared with headquarters and relevant agencies. Police are utilizing mobile tracking and other available methods to trace the missing man.

Mobarak Hossain was last seen wearing a light lemon-colored panjabi and black shoes. He has a white beard, is of medium height, stout build, and has few teeth. The family urges anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact his son at 01738482371.
