Nigeria's Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared winners in recent by-elections and governorship races. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Wogu Olaka Johnson won a senatorial by-election, while the All Progressives Congress (APC) secured victories in other senatorial and governorship contests, including a landslide win for Biodun Oyebanji in Ekiti State.

PDP candidate wins Rivers South-East senatorial by-election

- Wogu Olaka Johnson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won the Rivers South-East Senatorial District by-election. - Johnson secured 47,961 votes, defeating candidates from the All Progressives Congress, Action Alliance, and Labour Party. - The by-election was held to fill the seat vacated by Senator Barry Barinada Mpigi, who died in February.
