1 dead, 1 injured in Denizli as car overturns down embankment

A tragic accident in Denizli, Turkey, resulted in one fatality and one injury when a passenger car overturned after veering off the road. The incident occurred near Akyar Mahallesi in the Tavas district.

The vehicle, identified by license plate 20 AKS 339, was being driven by Ömer Tala, 23. According to reports, Tala lost control of the car, causing it to leave the roadway and roll down an embankment. Both Tala and a passenger, Mustafa Duman, sustained injuries in the crash.

Emergency services, including health personnel, firefighters, police, and gendarmerie, were dispatched to the scene following the incident. Firefighters worked to extricate Tala, who was trapped in the vehicle. He was subsequently transported to Tavas State Hospital for treatment.

Despite the efforts of medical staff, Ömer Tala could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The condition of the other injured individual, Mustafa Duman, was reported as not life-threatening.
