'13 Years Single' Yoon Eun-hye: 'Won't date Buddhists, even if they're perfect'

Yoon Eun-hye, a former member of the K-pop group Baby Vox, recently shared that she has been single for 13 years but expressed a desire to marry within the next three years. Appearing on the SBS TV talk show 'Wait, but Seriously!', Yoon discussed her personal life with fellow Baby Vox members.

She explained that her extended period without dating stemmed from quitting alcohol and dedicating herself to her faith. "I haven't dated for over 13 years," she stated, adding, "Unlike before, I now have thoughts about dating and marriage."

When discussing her ideal partner, Yoon Eun-hye emphasized the importance of "deep faith" as the top priority. She believes that a shared Christian faith is essential for meaningful conversation. While she could not envision a relationship with someone of Buddhist faith, even if they were otherwise perfect, she indicated that she could accept a partner who is agnostic or atheist. She even offered to pay their tithes on their behalf.

Regarding physical appearance, Yoon stated that she does not focus on looks. Instead, she prefers someone with a good sense of humor who does not drink or smoke. Yoon Eun-hye had previously garnered attention on another variety show for confessing her long-term single status, having not even engaged in casual dating since she was 29.
