15 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho Expressway

Fifteen people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle collision on the Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway late on June 8. The accident involved four vehicles: a passenger bus, a truck carrying workers, and two other trucks.

Victims were transported to Hung Vuong General Hospital in Phu Tho for treatment. Two patients were in critical condition and underwent emergency surgery overnight. Medical teams successfully performed the operations, and both patients are now conscious with stable vital signs, being closely monitored in the intensive care unit.

Other injured individuals received initial treatment, with some suffering minor abrasions and soft tissue injuries. These patients were treated for their wounds, given pain relief, preventive antibiotics, and discharged with instructions for home monitoring. Those remaining hospitalized are reported to be in stable condition with good prognoses, and many are expected to be released within one to two days if no complications arise.

The accident occurred around 7:30 PM on June 8, causing significant damage to the vehicles, including a passenger bus where some individuals were trapped due to a deformed driver's cabin. Emergency responders worked to rescue the trapped passengers and manage traffic flow, which experienced several hours of localized congestion.
