18-year-old threatened with gun and robbed in Berlin apartment

A young man in Berlin-Pankow narrowly escaped a violent robbery after being threatened with a firearm and other weapons. The 18-year-old victim was visiting the apartment of a 17-year-old acquaintance on Tuesday evening when he was attacked by two unknown men.

According to police reports, the assailants first physically assaulted the 18-year-old, punching him and kicking him before tying him up. The trio then escalated the threat, brandishing a firearm, pepper spray, and a knife. They demanded a sum of cash in the mid-three-digit range, which the victim handed over.

Seizing an opportunity, the young man managed to flee the apartment and immediately contacted the police. A special police unit was dispatched to the scene and searched the premises. However, by the time law enforcement arrived, the suspects had already disappeared, leaving no trace.
