2,856 euros rent for three rooms – but with a dog washing room and podcast studio

A new luxury residential tower in Vienna's Brigittenau district is making headlines for its high-end offerings, including three-room apartments with a monthly rent of 2,856 euros. The building, a prominent feature in the district, boasts furnished apartments equipped with a range of exclusive amenities designed to cater to a modern, discerning clientele.

The tower, named Momento, is the work of US real estate developer and manager Greystar. The company, already operating a student housing complex in Vienna's Donau City, has now ventured into the Brigittenau district, an area known for having the lowest average net income in the city. Greystar acquired the planned 27-story tower at Dresdner Straße 90 for 180 million euros in 2022, prior to its construction.

Among the unique features offered to residents are a dedicated dog washing station and a podcast studio, reflecting a trend towards specialized amenities in urban living. The building's distinctive facade, with irregular protrusions in red, green, blue, and yellow, adds to its visual presence in the cityscape. Despite the upscale offerings, the building is described as not yet having a lively atmosphere, suggesting a gradual move-in process.
