2 dead, 2 hurt after SUV, off-road vehicle collide in southwestern Ontario

A serious collision in Norfolk County, located southeast of London, Ontario, has resulted in the deaths of two individuals and serious injuries to two others. Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the intersection of Blueline Road and Concession 6 shortly after 4 p.m. on Thursday, following reports of a two-vehicle crash.

Investigators determined that an off-road vehicle and an SUV were involved in the collision. The off-road vehicle was carrying three occupants. The driver and one passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. A second passenger on the off-road vehicle was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the SUV, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was also taken to hospital. Their injuries are currently undetermined. Blueline Road was closed for several hours as police conducted their investigation, but it has since reopened late Thursday night.

OPP are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. They are appealing to the public for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who possesses relevant dashcam footage to come forward and contact the police.
