2026-2027 Süper Lig season dates announced

Football fans in Turkey can mark their calendars as the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has officially announced the schedule for the 2026-2027 Trendyol Süper Lig season. The highly anticipated season is set to kick off in mid-August, signaling the start of another intense campaign for the country's top football clubs.

The new season's opening whistle will blow on Friday, August 14, 2026. The inaugural week of matches will span across the weekend, concluding on Monday, August 17, 2026. This early start reflects the TFF's planning to accommodate the league's demanding schedule.

Following a competitive first half of the season, the league will enter its winter break. The final matches of the first half are scheduled for December 18-21, 2026. After a break of approximately three weeks, the second half of the season will commence with the 17th week of fixtures, starting on January 15, 2027.

The marathon season, which will see 18 teams vying for the championship title and battling against relegation, is slated to reach its conclusion on Sunday, May 23, 2027. This date will determine the league champions and the teams that will be relegated from the top flight.
