2026 Junior Table Tennis Finals Crown 12 Champions in Kaohsiung

The 2026 Junior Table Tennis Elite Prize final brought intense competition to Kaohsiung, culminating in the crowning of 12 champions across various age groups. The event, held over four days, saw over 570 young athletes from 10 nations battle it out in singles matches played under a best-of-five games, single-elimination format.

The tournament, supported by sponsors like Xin Baba Business, Zhen Guo Construction, and San Fa Real Estate, aimed to honor the players' dedication and provide a significant experience for their future endeavors. Huang Fuyuan, president of the Chinese Taipei Table Tennis Association, congratulated the athletes and expressed gratitude for the sponsorship, hoping for an even smoother event next year.

International talent was on display, with Singaporean players securing both the first and second places in the boys' under-9 category. Japan emerged victorious in the boys' under-10 and under-12 divisions. Taiwan celebrated its own rising stars, with Hong Yichang of Kaohsiung Gushan Junior High School claiming the girls' under-15 title and Lin Zije, a promising player from Taipei Zhishan Junior High School, winning the boys' under-15 championship.
