2026 Kia Sportage Launches in Vietnam with Lower Prices and Hybrid Options

The 2026 Kia Sportage has officially arrived in Vietnam, with THACO Auto announcing prices that start lower than the outgoing model. The new Sportage lineup expands to five variants, featuring two options with a 2.0L gasoline engine and three with a 1.6L turbocharged hybrid powertrain. The official listed prices range from 769 million to 1.099 billion VND. However, a promotional discount of 20 million VND is currently available across all versions, effectively reducing the starting price to 749 million VND and the top-tier price to 1.079 billion VND. The base 2.0G Deluxe model includes a 4.2-inch driver display and manual air conditioning. The higher 2.0G Luxury trim adds an electric driver's seat, auto-dimming rearview mirror, a 12.3-inch digital screen, automatic climate control, and the ADAS driver assistance suite. This suite includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision avoidance, lane keeping assist, blind-spot warning, and rear cross-traffic collision avoidance. The gasoline engines produce 154 horsepower and are paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The hybrid variants feature 18-inch alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with heating, paddle shifters, power-adjustable front seats with heating and cooling, an 8-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and a 360-degree camera. The top-tier Signature AWD model adds all-wheel drive and specialized terrain modes for snow, mud, and sand.
