The halftime show for the 2026 World Cup final between Argentina and Spain at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey promises an unprecedented spectacle. FIFA has organized a musical performance set to capture global attention, adding an extra layer of excitement to the championship match.

Chris Martin, the frontman of the band Coldplay, will host the event. The musical segment is scheduled to last 11 minutes, with an additional four minutes allocated for technical crews to dismantle the stage setup. This ensures the match resumes within the standard 15-minute halftime interval.

The lineup boasts major international artists, including Madonna, Shakira, and the K-pop group BTS. Nigerian artist Burna Boy, who collaborated with Shakira on the World Cup song 'Dai Dai,' will also perform.
