2026 YKS Foreign Language Test: Start Times, Duration, and Result Announcement Date

Millions of candidates are preparing to take their positions at exam centers for the Foreign Language Test (YDT), the third session of the 2026 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS). The YDT, crucial for students seeking university admission based on language proficiency, is set to take place on Sunday, June 21, 2026.

The exam is scheduled to commence at 3:45 PM. Candidates will be allocated a total of 120 minutes, equivalent to two hours, to complete the test. This session is specifically designed for students who aim to pursue higher education in fields requiring foreign language qualifications.

Following the examination period, candidates will eagerly await the results. According to the official calendar released by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), the results for the 2026 YKS exams are slated for announcement on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. Students will be able to access their scores through the ÖSYM Candidate Services System (AİS) and the Result Announcement System (sonuc.osym.gov.tr) using their Turkish identification numbers and passwords.
