Delegates from all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory gathered to select the party's standard-bearer. Abdullah highlighted that Imumolen's candidacy is backed by strong structural support, particularly from the party's younger demographic, who see him as a modern leader. Having been the youngest presidential contender in the 2023 elections, Imumolen enters the 2027 race with increased experience, established grassroots networks, and national appeal.
