2027: Accord Party Unveils Lagos Guber, Senatorial Candidates

The Lagos State chapter of the Accord Party (AP) has officially presented its slate of candidates for the upcoming 2027 general elections. The unveiling ceremony in Lagos formally introduced the party's governorship candidate, three senatorial candidates, and other aspirants vying for legislative positions across the state.

During the event, the party also reiterated its strong backing for Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim's presidential campaign. The presentation of Certificates of Return to the candidates marked a significant milestone, signaling the formal commencement of campaign activities for the 2027 electoral cycle.

Dele Oladeji, the Lagos State Chairman of the Accord Party and a candidate for the Lagos West Senatorial District, described the occasion as a crucial step in the party's mission to offer Lagosians a viable political alternative. He emphasized the party's core ideology, which centers on social justice, equity, and governance focused on citizen welfare. Oladeji expressed confidence that the Accord Party possesses the vision and capability to enact meaningful change, meeting the desire of many Lagos residents for a departure from the existing political landscape.
