Amb Aliyu Bin Abbas, the presidential candidate for the Action Democratic Party (ADP), has officially commenced his campaign for Nigeria's 2027 general election. According to a statement released by his media aide, Jacob Dickson, prominent personalities attended the gathering and expressed their support for Abbas and his vision for Nigeria. Ali Jita, a popular singer, producer, and filmmaker, who also serves as the National Convener of the Aliyu Bin Abbas Organisation, stated that he established the organization based on his belief that Nigeria requires visionary leadership. Jita urged Nigerians to back Abbas, characterizing him as a leader capable of fostering national development and restoring public trust in governance.
