The All Progressives Congress (APC) is confident it will secure all elective positions in the upcoming local government elections in Gombe State, according to party leadership.

Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, the APC's National Chairman, has endorsed the party's candidates for chairmanship and councillorship. Speaking on Wednesday during the presentation of party flags to APC candidates in Gombe, Governor Muhammadu Yahaya asserted that the ruling party is poised for victory across the state's 11 local government areas.

Governor Yahaya emphasized that the APC remains the dominant political force in Gombe State, driven by a commitment to consolidate power through unity, performance, and grassroots support. "We are determined to repeat our electoral successes and retain all elective positions under the APC platform. Our strength lies in our unity, commitment and the confidence the people have in our leadership," he stated.

We appreciate President Tinubu’s commitment to the development of Gombe State and the North-East. These projects are in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda, which continues to inspire confidence among Nigerians.

The governor also commended President Bola Tinubu for supporting major infrastructure projects in the state, including an ongoing superhighway project. He noted that these projects align with the administration's "Renewed Hope Agenda" and are already showing visible impacts across critical sectors. Yilwatda praised Yahaya's administration for significant achievements in infrastructure, education, and social development, citing tangible evidence of governance benefiting citizens during his visits to various communities and project sites across the state.
