23rd International Bodrum Ballet Festival Continues with 'Carmina Burana' Performance

The 23rd International Bodrum Ballet Festival is underway in Turkey's Bodrum district, with a recent performance of "Carmina Burana" drawing significant attention. Staged in the North Moat of Bodrum Castle, the new production captivated attendees with its compelling choreography and striking visual narrative.

The ballet brings Carl Orff's renowned music to life through contemporary dance, with Volkan Ersoy directing. The choreography is a collaborative effort by Volkan Ersoy, Armağan Davran, Deniz Özaydın, Alper Marangoz, Ferhat Güneş, Özgür Adam İnanç, Kürşat Kılıç, Yağızhan Danış, and Didem Ertan.

"Carmina Burana" explores universal themes such as fate, nature, love, and the cyclical nature of human life.
