Disney+ has released a new docuseries, "9/11, United by Tragedy," timed to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the attacks on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. Produced in collaboration with National Geographic and the 9/11 Memorial & Museum in New York, the series centers on simple yet powerful reunions between survivors and the firefighters, police officers, rescuers, and volunteers who saved their lives.

The documentary attempts to avoid excessive sentimentality, though the article notes it doesn't always succeed.
