For Aamna Zabeen, a landscape is never only a view. It can be a memory, a feeling or a place carried within her, then rebuilt through paint and mixed media.

The Dubai-based visual artist, originally from Kolkata, specialises in landscape painting. She says mixed media gives her the freedom to experiment with texture, depth and layering, allowing her to portray places emotionally as well as visually.
