The Abierto de Los Cabos is maintaining a calm stance amid potential shifts in the ATP calendar, as the international tennis circuit contemplates reorganizing its schedule. These proposed changes, driven by the introduction of a new Masters 1000 event in Saudi Arabia and an effort to shorten the season, could impact various tournaments, including the ATP 500 in Acapulco and the ATP 250 in Buenos Aires.

Despite the uncertainty, José Antonio Fernández, the tournament director, emphasized that the focus remains on upholding the event's high standards. "What happens in a few months will not be in our hands, but what is in our hands is to continue doing what we are doing," Fernández stated during a press conference. He highlighted that Los Cabos consistently ranks among the top ATP 250 tournaments based on performance metrics.
