Abiodun mourns APC south-west women leader

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun expressed profound shock and sadness following the death of the All Progressives Congress (APC) South-West Zonal Woman Leader, Arabinrin Yetunde Shakirat Adesanya. Adesanya reportedly passed away on Thursday evening at her residence in Lagos after a prolonged illness.

In a condolence message issued on Friday, Governor Abiodun characterized the late APC chieftain as a dedicated party loyalist, a grassroots mobilizer, and a passionate advocate for women's inclusion in politics and governance. He noted that Adesanya devoted her life to the growth and stability of the APC, particularly in the South-West, where she was instrumental in strengthening the party's women's wing through effective mobilization, mentorship, and selfless service.
