Abu Muslim Farah Club Secures AFC License for Challenge League Playoffs

Abu Muslim Farah Club, the current champion of Afghanistan's Premier Football League, has officially secured the AFC Club License. This significant achievement clears the path for the club's participation in the playoff stage of the 2026–27 AFC Challenge League.

The Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) announced that Abu Muslim Farah successfully met all the stringent criteria and requirements set by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The federation provided support to the club in this process, culminating in the acquisition of the prestigious license.

The AFC Club License is a crucial prerequisite for competing in official continental tournaments. It signifies a club's adherence to AFC standards across various domains, including governance, technical development, legal compliance, financial management, and infrastructure. Abu Muslim Farah has a strong track record, having won the Afghanistan Premier Football League title twice in the Afghan calendar years 1403 and 1404. The club also secured a runner-up position once.
