AC Milan Reportedly Accept Galatasaray's Offer for Rafael Leao, Player Undecided Amid Aston Villa Interest

AC Milan has reportedly agreed to a transfer offer from Turkish club Galatasaray for Portuguese winger Rafael Leao. The reported proposal amounts to 45 million euros, with an additional 5 million euros in potential bonuses, according to The Athletic.

However, Leao's future remains uncertain as he has not yet committed to a move. Premier League club Aston Villa is also in contention, reportedly discussing an initial loan deal with an obligation to purchase the player permanently. This package includes an 8 million euro loan fee and a mandatory 42 million euro purchase clause.

Galatasaray has offered Leao an annual salary of approximately 10 million euros, plus 2 million euros in bonuses, though the player's representatives are reportedly seeking around 12 million euros per season plus 3 million euros in bonuses. Aston Villa, on the other hand, is said to be offering an annual net salary of around 7 million euros.

Leao, whose contract with Milan extends until 2028, holds the ultimate decision on whether to join Galatasaray, pursue the move to Aston Villa, or remain with the Italian club. He joined Milan from Lille in 2019 and has been instrumental in their Serie A and Italian Super Cup title wins. Last season, he scored nine goals and provided three assists in 29 Serie A appearances.
