Timothy James Curry, an actor whose face graced some of popular culture's most memorable characters, has died at 81. His manager confirmed the sad news, which follows years of health struggles after a severe stroke in 2012. Despite his health challenges, Curry remained dedicated to his craft until the end.

Curry's legacy extends beyond a mere list of roles; it is a gallery of portraits that challenged conventions. From the subversive anarchy of Dr. Frank-N-Furter to the archetypal evil of Pennywise the Clown, he was a master of transformation.
