Activists gift old car to Bulgarian Defense Minister in protest

In a symbolic act of protest, youth organizations from the Bulgarian political parties "Yes, Bulgaria" and Democrats for Strong Responsibility (DSB) delivered an old "Moskvich" car to the Ministry of Defense. The vehicle, plastered with critical slogans, was parked in front of the ministry's headquarters in Sofia.

The gesture was intended to draw attention to what the activists perceive as negligence within the defense sector. The prominent slogan on the car, "One MiG of negligence, a lifetime of parts...", directly references a recent incident involving a MiG fighter jet, implying a pattern of mismanagement or oversight.

The activists' action highlights concerns about the modernization and maintenance of Bulgaria's military equipment and the efficiency of its defense spending. By presenting a dated Soviet-era car, they seem to contrast the current state of affairs with the country's aspirations for a modern and capable defense force.
