Actor Serhat Kılıç’s final footage emerges after he was found dead at home

The last known footage of actor Serhat Kılıç has emerged after he was found dead at his home in Istanbul’s Kağıthane district. Building security cameras show Kılıç arriving at the property, leaning against a wall while waiting for the elevator, then turning toward the stairs when it did not come.

Kılıç’s girlfriend, Özlem E., 50, went to his home after she had been unable to reach him since Thursday. When he did not answer the door, she entered with a key she had and found him motionless in an armchair in the living room.

She noticed that he was not breathing and that his body was cold, then called Turkey’s 112 emergency line. Police from the Kağıthane Public Order Bureau and medical teams were sent to the address. Medical personnel confirmed that Kılıç had died.

After police completed a lengthy examination of the scene, his body was transferred to the morgue of the Forensic Medicine Institute.
