Canadian actor Tyler Mane has publicly shared his diagnosis of breast cancer, using Instagram to announce the news and raise awareness about the disease's rarity in men. In a candid video, Mane revealed his condition, emphasizing that only about 1% of breast cancer cases occur in men, a statistic that contributes to the stigma surrounding the illness.

Mane, known for his role as Sabretooth in the X-Men film series, posted a video from the hospital expressing defiance, stating, "F*** cancer!". He has since begun chemotherapy and shared his gratitude for the support he has received. "I am going to beat cancer. Thank you for accompanying me on this journey. We need to create awareness," he stated.

Despite the challenges, Mane is maintaining a rigorous physical routine, including daily push-ups and squats, and has undergone surgery to remove three lymph nodes. He noted that side effects from his treatment have been minimal so far, with only a visible mark from the IV needle. He also humorously acknowledged the common side effect of hair loss, noting he had "prepared to lose hair a long time ago by shaving my head."
