South Korean actress Choi Jung-yoon has issued a public warning regarding social media accounts impersonating her to engage in fraudulent stock investment schemes. The actress took to her social media on June 9 to alert her followers about individuals using her likeness to send direct messages (DMs) related to stock trading.

Choi Jung-yoon emphasized that she does not possess any stock accounts, directly refuting any claims made by the impersonators. She pleaded with the public to be vigilant and cautious about such messages. Accompanying her statement were screenshots of the fake social media profiles, which used similar account names to hers, highlighting the deceptive nature of the impersonation.

Expressing her displeasure, Choi Jung-yoon directly addressed the perpetrators, stating, "To the person posting this, please stop. That's not how you do things." She reinforced her message with hashtags such as 'impersonation,' 'warning,' and 'will be scolded,' conveying her strong disapproval and frustration.
