Actress Choi Yeo-jin: Husband gave up on having children because I don't like them

South Korean actress Choi Yeo-jin shared a personal detail about her marriage on the SBS TV show 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 – You Are My Destiny,' revealing that her husband, businessman Kim Jae-wook, has given up on having children because she is not keen on them.

Choi, who married the 48-year-old sports entrepreneur last June, explained that while her husband loves children, he ultimately decided against starting a family for her. "My husband really likes babies," Choi said, "but I'm not really the type who likes babies that much. So, even though he liked them, I kept telling him to have a baby, but he refused. He said it was because he didn't want me to struggle."

The conversation occurred when Choi and Kim hosted a couple, actress Park Ha-na and former basketball player Kim Tae-sool. Park Ha-na, a friend of Choi's, discussed her own difficulties with conceiving, mentioning her ongoing efforts with in-vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments in hopes of having twins. She expressed her intention to take a break before resuming the treatments.

Choi responded to Park's fertility journey by remarking, "Life doesn't always go according to plan." The discussion highlighted differing perspectives on parenthood and the personal decisions couples make regarding family planning.
