The 53-year-old Golden Bell Award winner has publicly refuted the claims, asserting that the accuser, whom she identified as a former co-star, is pressuring her to assume a 700,000 TWD debt that was supposedly divinely ordained.

Following Kao's withdrawal from the course, the accuser allegedly began sending her numerous messages, some containing accusations about Kao's relationship with her boyfriend and suggesting he was involved with "raising ghosts." The accuser also claimed that divine messages instructed her to donate 1 million TWD, of which she had already paid 300,000 TWD, and demanded Kao cover the remaining 700,000 TWD, labeling it as Kao's debt.
