Actress Kaylee Hottle's death caused by blunt force trauma, investigation continues

The cause of death for actress Kaylee Hottle, who appeared in "Godzilla vs. Kong," has been revealed as blunt force trauma following a car accident on July 21 in Maryland. The 18-year-old actress was traveling in a vehicle that lost control and crashed into a storm drain, according to reports.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident, which has been preliminarily classified as accidental. The medical examiner's office confirmed that Hottle sustained multiple contusions. While the initial findings point to an accident, toxicology tests are being conducted to ascertain if alcohol or any other substances were present in her system at the time of the crash. Results are expected within 10 days.

Kaylee Hottle, who was deaf and communicated through sign language, was found unconscious at the scene. Rescue teams had to locate a translator to communicate with her family. She was rushed to a hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival. Her parents, Joshua and Ketsi Hottle, along with co-stars Millie Bobby Brown and Rebecca Hall, have shared tributes following the tragic loss.
