Actress Lucy Davis, who gained fame as receptionist Dawn Tinsley in the original British sitcom 'The Office,' has publicly shared her diagnosis of incurable breast cancer. The 53-year-old revealed on Instagram that her cancer is stage 4 and has metastasized to her spine, hips, and ribs.

Davis stated that chemotherapy is no longer an option due to the advanced stage of the disease. Despite the grim prognosis, she expressed a positive outlook, emphasizing her desire to live the remainder of her life as enjoyably as possible. "I am not afraid of what is to come. I am at peace with it," she wrote, adding that she finds joy in continuing to work.

The actress stressed the importance of humor throughout her ordeal and asked friends and family not to treat her as if she were ill. She also urged her followers to get their breasts checked at the slightest concern. Davis is also known for her roles in 'Wonder Woman,' 'The Archers,' 'Shaun of the Dead,' and 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.'
