The Ad-din Foundation is implementing significant reforms following the resignation of its executive director, Dr. Sheikh Mohiuddin, and the cancellation of its hospital's license. Professor Jamalunnessa has been appointed as the new executive director.

Following his resignation, the Board of Directors has appointed Professor Jamalunnessa as the new executive director, according to a press release signed by Tariqul Islam Mukul, director of the foundation’s company affairs.

The foundation's move comes after the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revoked the license of Ad-din Women’s Medical College Hospital in Moghbazar. This action followed an "unsatisfactory" response regarding the tragic deaths of six newborns at the facility.

In a press release, Ad-din authorities stated their commitment to necessary changes in infrastructure and management systems, aligning with government directives. The hospital has initiated extensive remodeling and modernization efforts. Under the guidance of three independent consultants, work is underway to improve ventilation, air circulation, and oxygen supply. Additionally, the bakery located above the corporate office has been completely shut down.
