ADFD reports progress on Nigeria road projects, others

The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) continues to demonstrate its commitment to fostering economic growth and enhancing infrastructure across Africa through its ongoing project monitoring and implementation efforts. The Fund's active oversight of key road projects in Togo, Madagascar, and Nigeria highlights the UAE's dedication to supporting sustainable development and improving the quality of life in partner nations.

With significant progress reported—92% completion for the Sokodé–Bassar Road in Togo, 80% for road infrastructure in Madagascar, and 45% for the Minna–Bida Road in Nigeria—these projects are on track to deliver substantial benefits. The rehabilitation and construction of these vital transport arteries are designed not only to improve connectivity and reduce travel costs but also to stimulate economic activity, enhance access to essential services like healthcare and education, and support key sectors such as agriculture, industry, and tourism.
