Adorni announced Javier Lanari's exit from the Government

Manuel Adorni, Argentina's Chief of Staff, announced on Monday the departure of Javier Lanari from his position as Secretary of Communication and Press for the national government. Lanari, a figure within the administration led by President Javier Milei, had held the post for two and a half years.

Adorni expressed his gratitude to Lanari via his X account, wishing him well in his future endeavors. "In the name of the Government, I wish him the best for his future challenges," Adorni wrote. He also confirmed that the government would soon announce Lanari's successor, who is expected to collaborate closely with the newly appointed Presidential Spokesperson.

The announcement of Lanari's exit coincides with the official start of Adrián Ravier's tenure as the new Presidential Spokesperson. Ravier, a deputy, was appointed to replace Adorni in that role. Ravier met with Adorni at the Casa Rosada on Monday to finalize the details of his integration into the government. His position could carry ministerial rank, requiring a formal swearing-in ceremony, or that of a secretary reporting to the Secretary General of the Presidency, Karina Milei.

President Milei personally informed Ravier of his appointment. Ravier expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him and stated his commitment to communicating the government's achievements and addressing public queries during Argentina's ongoing "transformation process." The government indicated that the Presidential Spokesperson's office will focus on disseminating information about key economic milestones achieved during this transformative period, aligning with positive macroeconomic indicators.
