aespa is back, trading their signature "metallic" sound for a refreshing "sour" twist with their second full album, 'Armageddon.' The group, known for its powerful electronic music, aims to capture the summer with a vibrant and refreshing concept.

The album delves into the concept of 'Complexity,' representing intertwined multiverses where 'cracks' appear as both crises and new possibilities in the real world. "Our concept is about seizing opportunities within those cracks," Karina explained.

'Armageddon' features two title tracks: 'WDA (Whole Different Animal),' a hip-hop dance track with a grand synth bass, and 'LEMONADE,' an electronic dance song with an addictive synth bass. The latter draws from the proverb "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade," conveying a message of transforming hardships into opportunities. The album also includes 11 other tracks spanning dance, rock, hyper-pop, and R&B, with collaborations from artists like Ty Dolla $ign and Becky G.

The album has been met with strong market reception. 'LEMONADE' immediately topped domestic album charts, including Hanteo Chart, and reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in 19 countries, charting in the Top 10 in 38 nations. The music video for 'LEMONADE' also surpassed 10 million views within its first day of release.
