Aesthetic center shut down in Bello for illegal invasive procedures

Authorities in Bello, Colombia, have ordered the immediate closure of an aesthetic center in the Las Cabañas neighborhood. The decision came after discovering that the establishment was conducting invasive procedures without the necessary authorizations or adherence to legal regulations for such practices.

The operation was a coordinated effort involving the municipal secretariats of Health and Security and Citizen Coexistence. Units from the National Police and delegates from the Municipal Ombudsman's office also participated, inspecting biosecurity conditions and operational requirements of various businesses in the area.

During the inspection, officials also issued an official citation to another establishment suspected of performing similar irregular interventions. This second location was found closed at the time of the control visit.

Wber Zapata Lopera, the Secretary of Security and Citizen Coexistence of Bello, stressed the seriousness of these actions. He stated that these joint operations aim to protect citizens' health from substandard aesthetic practices. "Our commitment is to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of the people of Bello," Lopera said. "We will continue conducting inspection, surveillance, and control operations to ensure that establishments comply with current regulations and avoid risks that could affect people's integrity."

The Municipal Administration has announced plans to progressively intensify these preventive patrols in various sectors of the city. The primary objective remains the strict enforcement of the law, prioritizing life and public health protection against the dangers associated with unauthorized aesthetic treatments.
