Afghan boxer accused of killing British woman to stay in jail pending trial in Athens

Her remains were found in a suitcase at an abandoned construction site in Athens. Police officials identified the suspect as a professional boxer from Afghanistan who had been granted asylum in Greece. He was arrested on Sunday and has denied any wrongdoing. According to police, the suspect told investigators earlier this week that he found Ross' body in an apartment bathroom, panicked, placed it in a suitcase, and attempted to dispose of it. A post-mortem examination was unable to determine the exact cause of death due to the decomposition of the body.
