Afghan Health Minister, WHO Representative Discuss Strengthening Health Programs

Afghanistan's Minister of Public Health, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, held discussions with Dr. Edwin Ceniza Salvador, the World Health Organization's Representative for Afghanistan, focusing on bolstering the nation's health sector. The meeting, held at the minister's office, addressed key areas for improvement and collaboration.

Central to their talks were the enhancement of existing health programs and the introduction of new initiatives. Specific attention was given to the operations of the polio laboratory, a critical component in the global effort to eradicate the disease.
