After Dubrovnik arrest, ‘Gospodin Savršeni’ contestant Laura Prgomet joins Serbian reality show Elita

Laura Prgomet has moved from a Dubrovnik detention cell to the cast of Serbia’s reality show Elita, where she entered to positive reactions reported by Serbian media.

Before joining the program, the former contestant on RTL’s “Gospodin Savršeni” spoke with host Dušica Jakovljević. Prgomet said she had no stage fright and described herself as “a natural at causing scandals.” After entering the show, she spoke with Miljana Kulić, and the two immediately discussed other contestants and exchanged gossip.

The move comes after a summer legal incident in Dubrovnik. Prgomet, 26, from Dugo Selo, was initially placed in investigative detention for up to one month on suspicion of two offenses involving attacks on an official. Reports said she physically confronted police officers during the incident, leaving one policewoman with minor injuries.

According to accounts cited by Dubrovnik Daily, the incident took place at the Brazil café, where Prgomet allegedly insulted people, broke glasses and furniture, and drove customers from the venue. Investigative judge Miloglav said the detention had been ordered because of the risk of a repeat offense, citing what he described as persistence, aggression and recklessness during the alleged attack on police officers.

A review panel later accepted the defense’s appeal, changed the investigative judge’s decision and released Prgomet under a milder measure.

The reason was the risk of repeating the offense, taking into account the fact that the woman showed extreme persistence, aggression and recklessness, while insulting and physically attacking police officers, during which a policewoman suffered minor physical injuries.
