Nicole Kidman appears to have found someone who makes her smile again after her second divorce. The 59-year-old actress was seen with private-equity investor Michael Reinstein in Portofino, one of Italy’s popular holiday destinations.

Reinstein first visited Kidman at her hotel. The two were photographed laughing and chatting on a balcony, then caught in an intense and intimate conversation beside the pool. US media reported that the relationship had moved beyond a possible business connection and become a romantic one.

A source who spoke to Us Weekly said, “Nicole, after divorcing Keith Urban, has started dating again.” The same source described the relationship as easygoing: “Nicole and Michael are seeing each other. Their relationship is very relaxed at this stage. Nicole is having a lot of fun.”

She was first married to Tom Cruise from 1990 until their divorce in 2001. In 2006, she married Keith Urban, a country musician, and the couple later had two daughters.

According to people close to her, Kidman and Reinstein met through mutual friends. She had gone on several dates with other people, including introductions suggested by friends, but none led to a relationship. Reinstein is known as the founder and chief executive of the investment firm Regent.
