AI challenges universities to redefine human essence

The current political landscape is defined not by traditional left-right ideologies but by an existential human-machine conflict, driven by the pervasive influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This technological power operates beyond state control, shaping a "virtual, depoliticized, and privatized" reality through the "infosphere." The author argues that this shift renders concepts like the French Revolution and the industrial revolution's consequences obsolete, demanding a political focus on preserving the "human condition" from AI's transformative impact.

The core challenge for contemporary politics, according to the article, is twofold: first, to safeguard human authenticity in the face of accelerated and radical digitalization powered by AI, and second, to redefine AI's purpose.
