AI Demand Pushes Foxconn's Monthly Revenue to Record in July

Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Foxconn achieved record monthly revenue in July, surpassing T$900 billion ($27.93 billion) for the first time. The surge is attributed to robust demand for artificial intelligence products, which significantly boosted sales. The company, a key supplier for tech giants like Nvidia and Apple, reported a 54.2% year-on-year increase in revenue to T$946.5 billion last month. Foxconn highlighted strong growth in its cloud and networking products division, which encompasses AI servers, citing "strong pull-in momentum for AI products." The smart consumer electronics division, including smartphones, also experienced significant growth. Looking ahead to the third quarter, Foxconn expects AI rack shipments to continue growing and its overall operations to gain momentum as information and communication technology (ICT) products enter their peak season. Despite optimistic projections for both quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year growth, the company cautioned that it remains "necessary to monitor the impact of the volatile global political and economic situation." Foxconn, officially known as Hon Hai Precision Industry, does not issue numerical forecasts. The company's shares saw a 3.4% increase prior to the revenue announcement, outperforming the broader market.
