AI-Enhanced Recruitment Platforms Expand Ahead of South Korea’s Fall Hiring Season

Ahead of the fall open recruitment season, South Korean job platforms are moving beyond simply listing vacancies. They are adding AI tools designed to help applicants prepare for each stage of the hiring process, from applications to interviews and competency tests.

The shift reflects a broader expansion of recruitment services. Platforms are competing to attract job seekers by introducing or overhauling AI-based recommendations, document coaching and interview preparation tools.

Saramin introduced its AI document-passing coaching service in May and recently revamped its AI personal-statement coaching. The service analyzes a written personal statement, assesses its fit with the company and position, and provides tailored editing guidance. It also analyzes strengths and weaknesses against competitors and helps applicants improve resumes for specific job postings.

Incruit has introduced a mock assessment service and predicted questions on AI utilization, alongside other tools aimed at new and experienced applicants. The result is a job-search process increasingly focused on practical preparation for the selection stages, not just finding vacancies and checking recruitment schedules.
