Israeli defense technology companies Airwayz and Tenna Systems have launched a strategic partnership, embedding Tenna's real-time spectrum intelligence into Airwayz's OVERWATCH platform. This integration aims to provide advanced command and control for drones and autonomous systems in the increasingly crowded low-altitude airspace.

OVERWATCH functions as an airspace control system, akin to a control tower, managing drone traffic between 400 feet and 7,000 feet. Airwayz CEO Eyal Zor highlighted the necessity of such a system to harness the potential of drones and prevent the chaos of uncontrolled airspace. The platform offers airspace planning, a unified operational picture, and end-to-end management, crucial for military, law enforcement, and critical infrastructure organizations worldwide.
