Åkesson: Busch's 'S-flirt' is a bad strategy for the blue-yellow bloc

Åkesson is demanding explicit answers from Busch regarding her party's stance on potentially supporting a Social Democratic prime minister. He publicly questioned whether Busch can be trusted, implying that her current political maneuvering lacks transparency and could undermine the broader conservative coalition. The Sweden Democrats leader seeks a clear commitment from Busch on her party's long-term alignment and willingness to collaborate across traditional political divides.

Speaking to Dagens Nyheter (DN), Åkesson stated, "If I ask the question openly, you have to answer openly, and then it's harder to take back later." This statement highlights his desire for a direct and unambiguous response from Busch, suggesting that any ambiguity could be politically damaging for her and her party. He implies that Busch's current approach allows for political flexibility that could later be regretted or exploited.
