AKP Group Deputy Chairman Usta Hospitalized After Minor Traffic Accident

A traffic accident occurred on the Anatolian Highway near Bolu, involving a vehicle carrying Leyla Şahin Usta, the Justice and Development Party (AKP) Group Deputy Chairman and Ankara Deputy. The incident happened around 4:00 PM in the Çaydurt area of the Bolu passage.

Usta was en route from Ankara to Kocaeli to attend a funeral ceremony. Her car collided with another vehicle traveling in the same direction. The impact resulted in minor injuries for both Leyla Şahin Usta and her bodyguard.

Emergency services, including health and gendarmerie teams, were dispatched to the scene following the incident. After receiving initial medical attention at the site, Usta and her bodyguard were transported to Bolu İzzet Baysal Training and Research Hospital.

Hospital officials reported that both Usta and her bodyguard are receiving treatment and are in stable condition, with no life-threatening injuries. AKP Bolu Provincial Chairman Suat Güner visited the hospital to receive updates on Usta's health status. An investigation into the cause of the accident has been initiated.
