Al Fareej Fridge campaign distributes 2 million bottles of cold water to Dubai workers

Two million bottles of cold water, along with juices and ice creams, reached workers across Dubai through the third cycle of the Al Fareej Fridge campaign.

The Furjan Dubai Foundation ran the campaign with support from the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives foundation and cooperation from Suqia UAE and the UAE Food Bank. It targeted cleaning and construction workers, delivery drivers, and people working in street and road landscaping, aiming to reduce the health risks of high summer temperatures.

Fifteen entities contributed during the two-month campaign. Officials and employees distributed drinks at workers’ workplaces and accommodation sites, while others provided the supplies needed for the initiative. The campaign recorded 219 community contributions in 54 areas of Dubai and involved 50 volunteers.
