Al Wahaibi aims to consolidate lead at Italian Baja

Oman's Hamed Al Wahaibi is set to compete in the International Italian Baja, the fourth round of the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Bajas season. Al Wahaibi, an ambassador for Omani motorsport, aims to solidify his lead in the Challenger class standings with a strong performance.

His current season has been highly successful, with victories in the Saudi Baja and Jordan Baja. Despite facing mechanical issues at the Greece Baja, he secured valuable points, maintaining his lead in the Challenger class and climbing to second place in the overall Baja World Cup standings. This marks Al Wahaibi's second participation in the Italian Baja, where he previously won in the "SSV" class.

Our position in the championship standings is good, but the objective is to maintain a high pace to secure more points and strengthen our advantage at the top of the Challenger class.
